There’s an underrated, very “un-talked-about” foot technique that is really the key to any fast kick-drum-playing. This technique is completely independent of heel-toe or the slide method or whatever popular technique you prefer, and it will actually make you BETTER at any of those other methods. Furthermore, this particular technique will work whether you’re a heel-up or heel-down player.
