The time has come... I am finally deleting my tropicore Animal Crossing New Horizons island and restarting! I started work on this tropical island ages ago but I got burned out with it... it's been unfinished for so long and it's been really bugging me! So I'm finally deleting the island and restarting it, but not before giving you an island tour of some of the best bits!

I wanted a beautiful tropical holiday destination kind of island in ACNH but I didn't make it in a very systematic way... There's bits of the island that I loved! But they're not connected well, they're all over the place and terraforming the whole thing and flattening it is such an ordeal, I really can't be bothered to do that. I'm going to miss my villagers (especially my little frog husband Henry) but deleting my save data from my Nintendo Switch and starting again with the design is the best thing I think! It's a fresh start, so that every time I go on I don't just feel annoyed and like I hate my island :D This time I'm going to continue with the tropicore island design theme, but I'm going to work from the front of the island to the back so that everything flows together better, instead of having random unconnected bits everywhere that are a nightmare to fix...

I will lose all my bells and villagers and progress and recipes but for me it's better than flattening everything, it's a completely fresh start and a chance to fall in love with the game again.
