Two Norwegian guys with next to none TET experience wanted to do some French and Italian TET in the spring of 2023, with only 14 days to spend. One BMW R1250GS and one Triumph Tiger 900.
We learned very early that distance is a real issue on TET.
We started near Luxembourg - and after a couple of days we found that we had barely moved at all.
So we never reached Italy - but ended up doing a roundtrip in France/Netherlands/Belgium instead.
That was really nice, and we learned a bunch of things for the next trip!
For example that our bikes are far to heavy for the technical parts of TET - guess ACT is more our plate for the next time!
Or maybe we will return with much smaller bikes :-)
