After 2+ years of searching, I have finally completed my goal of catching an ocean run Winter Steelhead! Ive been fishing Washington and Oregon for quite some time with many unsuccessful trips so this fish really means a lot to me. I apologize in advance for the chaotic filming in this episode, I caught this fish from the worst possible position 😂 The next catch will hopefully be a bigger fish with a less dramatic fight. Thanks everyone for sticking around during all of the trips that I blanked on. I couldnt be happier to catch my first true steelhead. The Oregon 2024 winter steelhead season is off to a bang!
