"Gin Kata" is a 1993 Filipino action-comedy-romance spoof of the 1985 film "Gymkata" which tells the story of Gino Katapang, who's life changes after he learns karate. With Herbert Bautista playing the titular role, the film is directed by Nestor Arsenal. Other cast members include Sheila Ysrael, Ramon Zamora, Tony Ferrer, Dick Israel, Ace Espinosa, Rex Lapid, Ike Lozada, Palito, Tiya Pusit, Rhey Roldan, and Lucita Soriano among others.
