Surprises on motorbike trips to areas you don't know might scare some people, but I love the uncertainty. Today brought both good and bad surprises on the South Thailand motorbike tour Episode 3. Fortunately there was no rain today and I was off to my first stop. Temples appeal to me if they have interesting designs or architecture. The first place I stopped proved to have both. Of course it involved climbing stairs, yet again. After the short temple visit, I proceeded down the Thailand south coast on my Honda ADV 160 motorbike in search of food. Luckily, I found a wonderful beachside restaurant with excellent food and a million dollar view. Having stuffed myself, I again jumped back on my motorbike to continue exploring the South of Thailand. The next stop proved to be a disappointing surprise, but that's life! However, only 45 minutes later I stumbled upon a really cool suspension bridge and a pack of 30+ deer, just waiting to be fed. This surprise put a huge smile on my face, as I was NOT expecting to find this here at all. After feeding the deer, it was time to find a hotel and relax in the pool as it was still 37 degrees outside, and I was getting cooked. We are about 1/3 of the way through the tour, and so much more to come!
