Join me real time, as I work on a 1973 John Deere 110 Garden Tractor; I describe WHAT I’m doing and WHY
My wife and I are replacing this John Deere 110 with a walk behind tractor that will fit her needs for the market garden a lot better. I’m getting this old girl ready for sale, and want to make sure that a few critical maintenance and repair items have been taken care of, so the new owner will have a machine that’s ready to work for the full season, and won’t need repairs to get it through.

SAFETY NOTE: High pressures REALLY are NOT something to mess around with. Please wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection), and do NOT inflate tires above the manufacturers rating, and when seating the bead, do not inflate over 20ish PSI. The bead SHOULD be able to seat at that pressure; it may just need some additional lubrication, or a bit of flexing the rubber. Increasing the pressure can result in sudden, unpredictable sidewall blowout when the bead suddenly jumps. This can seriously injure you. THANKS for working safe!
