After a somewhat confusing first couple of runs with the Asics Metaride, I promised I would try and really get to know and understand this shoe. Well, I've now run over 100 miles in this shoe. And while it has definitely started to grow on me, I'm not quite sure I fully understand this shoe. I've been using it for recovery runs, easy runs, and easy moderate runs. I've run in the shoe for distances from 6-11 miles. And while the shoe is comfortable, I'm not sure it's worth $250.

I'm not saying the shoe isn't worth $250. But what I am saying is that, if it is worth $250, I have yet to experience that value. Ultimately, it may be that this shoe just isn't for me. Perhaps for a heel toe runner, this shoe might be just right. But that isn't me.
