Polestar jumped out of the gate with a fun to drive compact sedan in the Polestar 2, but there has long been a problem: Range. Fortunately Polestar is a company that isn't afraid to do things differently so after giving a "long range" FWD model a whirl for a year, they decided to go back to basics and drop an all-new motor in the back, a bigger battery under the floor, and refocus everything on efficiency.
