On November 25 2021, the fifth webinar of the CTA "Synergies in the Exploration of the Extreme Universe" series featured Shri Kulkarni (Caltech), who talked about the great returns and surprises from Zwicky Transient Factory (ZTF), including super-luminous supernovae, new classes of transients, and troves of pulsating stars and binary stars.

The goal of the series is learning by the hands of experts from different fields about the current experiences and past challenges that different instruments underwent and that can apply to the next-generation observatories. The series is open and free to all researchers in astronomy and astrophysics, who are welcomed to join and participate in the discussion session too. The webinars are performed via Zoom and connection details are sent to all subscribers via email.
