Apex Legends just dropped an explosive new trailer for Alter in the latest "Stories from the Outlands" and it’s nothing short of mind-blowing. With Season 21, titled "Upheaval," set to launch on May 7th, here’s what we learned from the thrilling reveal:

Alter’s Intriguing Backstory:
The trailer dives deep into Alter's lore, showing us a life shaped by betrayal and vengeance. Trained as an assassin from birth, Alter became top of her field only to be betrayed by her colleagues, pushing her to go rogue. Her journey of vengeance isn't just confined to her world; it stretches across dimensions as she seeks justice for herself and her deceased parents.

Dimension-Hopping Adventures:
Alter’s quest for revenge takes her through multiple dimensions, each adding a layer to her complex character:

Crypto Connection: One dimension hints at an older version of Crypto, suggesting intriguing alternate realities.
Titanfall Tie-In: A scene with a person dangling off a building labeled "Latimosa Armory" nods to the connected universe of Titanfall.
Alternate Lives: Alter's experiences range from taking on Bloodhound’s life and battling a leviathan to becoming a top football player and even fighting monkeys in another bizarre twist.
Mahjong Mastery: Echoing a recent teaser, we see Alter as a mahjong champion, tying back to earlier clues about her character.
Dramatic Finale:

Passive (Gift From The Rift): Alter can interact with deathboxes remotely to claim one item, excluding armor. This ability adds a strategic layer to looting, especially during intense fights.
Tactical (Void Passage): This ability allows Alter to create a portal passageway through surfaces, offering new tactical movement options.
Ultimate (Void Nexus): Alter can set up a regroup point. Allies can interact with this point from anywhere on the map to open a phase tunnel back to that location, making it a game-changer for team repositioning.
