I have been using cell of lithium-ion batteries for many years, which have served their lives in laptops. As it turned out, they can work for several more years with a relatively small current in the load. Unfortunately, 18650 lithium-ion cells do not have a built-in protection circuit and you need to add it to the power circuit yourself. But ready-made circuit boards can be bought online for 10 to 50 cents, depending on the load current and the number of sections in the battery.
In this video, I tried to briefly talk about the different ways to use lithium-ion batteries to power household appliances. I will try to talk about how to assemble a universal regulated power source from ready-made blocks that can be used to charge lithium-ion batteries.
