Meta's project Cambria is going to be a higher end Oculus Quest headset. It will exploit the passthrough mode creating an AR style headset. The problem for Meta is, more people will choose to play with the AR functions than the VR functions, essentially killing Mark Zuckerberg's vision for the Metaverse.
