#Camping on mountains has always been a dream for me though it came true quite number of times. This time #camping_at_Paye_top was the loveliest of night I had spent in mountains. We left scorching heat in Islamabad when it was 43 degree Celsius and in 5 hrs, we reached on that mulch height where temp dropped to 21 degrees and weather was also too good.
After parking my car in #Shogran, we took Siraj and his jeep along with us and continued to paye top via #Siri_lake. Road is really not good and during rainy weather, it became even more difficult and consumed almost 1.5 hrs from Shogran but weather unexpectedly turned so good at #payemeadows after reaching at the top and it became really a wonderful experience, having our camps erected there, sitting in front of a #bonefire at 10000 ft height amid starry night. Siraj being a local is such a hospitable person and like always, he collected woods from the forest enrpute for a bonfire at paye meadows in front of our camps. But be careful, always set wood on fire at some distance from the camps to avoid spatters falling on camps.
After the day long travel from Islamabad to paye meadowws, it was a peaceful night I never had before. slippery road of Paye from Shogran consumed lot of time due to jeeps skidding over wet muddy Road but finally we made it.
camping in mountains entertains when the day tourists go back either due to the unavailability of camps or due to the fact that they are day time tourists. The surroundings become peaceful and worth watching after that.
