Since it's first episode in 1966, Star Trek has gone through five total live action series - with another one just about to start. Star Trek: Discovery was announced back in November of 2015, and has undergone several challenges on it's way to TV. There's several rumors that the series almost got shelved entirely on a few occasions - but are there any other Star Trek series that did get shelved prior to their release?
