Bedford Modern School summarises a long journey towards a goal that ended up being a two year campaign. The crew, of humble origins, having to be completely built from scratch from 2008, faced multitudes of challenges and difficulties, but struggled off taunts of weakness to compete at the National Schools Regatta with unequivocal determination.

During this journey, this path of pain, true characters and friendships form, and it represents the story: that true loyalty, true passion and true trust will always prevail, if you are but willing to give it all, without a second though.
My thanks, especially, to my coaches, parents, supporters, but especially the athletes who I shared both the highest and lowest points of my life, for believing in us.
