The trial of five men accused of killing Senzo Meyiwa continues in the Pretoria High Court this morning. Yesterday, the issue of an arrest warrant for Kelly Khumalo, Meyiwa's then-girlfriend, dominated the proceedings. During the cross-examination of investigating officer, Sergeant Batho Mogola, the defence raised questions about why the warrant was drafted but never authorized. Meyiwa was shot and killed in October 2014. Mogola revealed that she was aware of a draft but does not know why it was never sanctioned.
