In today's video myself and Morgan Yates go to just about every rooftop bar in LA and give you guys the low down. On Morgan's channel we went to all the overhyped coffee shops, so be sure to check that out after this video!

This video explores 8 different rooftop bars in Los Angeles. Most of the rooftop bars here you will find in downtown LA, but they are spread out all over the city. Heading downtown, we went to the Ace Hotel first. This is a very relaxed rooftop bar that is open during the day time, you'll find people mostly having meetings or even with their laptop during the day. It's very trendy and has a great view.

Next, we went to Broken Shaker. Broken Shaker is apart of the Freehand Hotel, so a lot of the people at this bar are likely hotel guests. It's a small bar, but it has an incredible view, and drinks are slightly less expensive than the other bars.

After that, we went to my favorite rooftop bar of DTLA, The Nomad Hotel's Rooftop. This rooftop is stunning- it has a beautiful pool, a lot of plants and shaded areas to sit. It's a pretty big rooftop- and it feels more like a nice restaurant than a bar.

The last rooftop bar we went to in Downtown Los Angeles was The Standard's rooftop. This one is apart of a hotel but probably gets the most non-travelers of these DTLA rooftops. It's right in the middle of a lot of office buildings so you'll see people grabbing a drink after work on a week day, it's a lot of business professionals. The decor is very mid century modern and kind of funky like all Standard hotels, there is actually a lot of space up here and the view is great!

Heading to the west side, we stopped at the Waldorf Astoria rooftop. This was the most expensive rooftop we went to- an aperol spritz was $28! It has gorgeous views of the hills. Since it's apart of a 5 star hotel people dress up at this bar.

In Venice, we stopped at the Hotel Erwin's High Rooftop. This is the only rooftop we went to with an ocean view! (There is another at the hotel Shangri La in Santa Monica).

And last but not least, we went to EP & LP. This bar is not apart of a hotel, so it has a lot more people that actually live in LA stopping by. The coolest thing about this is the movie theatre. All summer they have new and classics playing at the outdoor theatre.
