Your research has taken you so far already. Through book after book you’ve pursued the clues, and you feel as if you truly are on the verge of a great discovery. Rain pelts the ceiling above as you sink into your armchair and stare into the fireplace, relaxing and leaning back. Your cat notices, padding over the carpet and leaping into your lap. Together you listen to the storm, lost in thought.
