Nylon or PolyAmide filament is a great functional filament known for its strength & durability; however, it’s also notorious for being difficult to print with the main issues being excess warping or stringing.

I’ve printed with many various types of Nylons with different fillings, so I hoped to share some of the things I learned the hard way, so y’all won’t have to deal with the headaches I had to overcome.

All this said the tips I mention in this video can also be applied to help you troubleshoot issues like “how to fix warping” or “how to improve print success rate” as printing with Nylon requires you to have at least a decent understanding of how various setting in a slicer affects the print/filament.

Even though Nylon is sometimes seen as an challenge it’s actually quite simple to print once you grasp how it likes to behave & what temps work best for a particular type of Nylon.
