This is a quick review of the easy DIY repair options for a drywall screw anchor that has failed. This is an easy how-to repair guide for loose toilet paper holders and towel racks, and anything else that is supported by sheet rock screws held in place by drywall anchors. The option chosen was to use one of the newer design toggle bolts that mount easily from one side of the wall. Options for what to do when these don’t work correctly and when trying to mount to an outside wall are discussed.
