Washington, D.C. and capitols across the U.S. are seeing security tightened ahead of the inauguration of Joe Biden on Jan. 20.

The FBI has warned of more armed protests, similar to what was seen on Jan. 6 when the Capitol building was breached, in the coming days.

The U.S. Capitol building and surrounding areas, including the White House, has checkpoints set up and fences with barbed wire. From Florida to Michigan to California and Texas, law enforcement has also put in place heightened security measures as a precaution.

Jennifer Johnson reports on how Washington is preparing for Wednesday and Mike Armstrong takes a look at what the rest of the country is doing.
