(KUTV) — A professional barrel racer who was paralyzed from the waist down is now about to hit the movie screen.

2News first met Amberley Snyder four and a half years ago.

Snyder was a world champion barrel racer when a horrific crash in 2010 left her paralyzed.

She was told her riding days were over.

"What am I supposed to do with that kind of news?" she said.

But Snyder literally got back on the horse. But this time, she straps herself in like some kind of NASCAR driver.
