If I were BMW 4-Series shopping, the 430i convertible is the model that I would buy. Yes, part of it is because I'm too cheap to buy an M440i, but I also think the 430i is a better value, is better balanced, and with the M-Sport parts added is just about as much fun in an entirely different way.
