As soon as I got my used Cirrus 620 I realized that the built in solar panel wasn't enough for my needs up here in the North East, especially with the low sun angle and short days of winter. So: I built a no-drill tilting solar panel rig from a 100 watt panel, 2x gas struts for a trunk or hood, 10mm mounting balls for those struts, and a tilting solar panel mount designed for permanent tilt all attached by VHB tape.
