major restoration work has been underway and I am trying to document my best here as to what we are trying to accomplish. The museum is set up a GoFundMe to help us raise the hundred thousand dollars required to rehabilitate this magnificent 1860s Grismill still running off the original turbines that were cast in a  in a foundry, not very far away from this  location. Probably some of the last surviving artifacts of that once great early industrial endeavor in the Ottawa Valley.
