Today, many home care attendants or caregivers from immigrant communities do not receive personal protective equipment. Yet, they still give care at the risk of their own lives during the COVID19 pandemic.

Patricia Bedoya is a homecare worker who, with labor union SEIU, is fighting for dignified work conditions and personal protective equipment that they need during the COVID19 pandemic.

As the daughter of formerly undocumented Mexican immigrants, she asks everyone, regardless of citizenship, to participate in the census to improve the lives of workers and their families. Take the census my2020census.gov.
