Jedsy and Labor Risch commence a promising cooperation to deliver medical samples by drone

Jedsy and Dr. Risch Laboratory group (a leading service provider of laboratory medicine in Switzerland and Liechtenstein) have started an encouraging collaboration that will ensure faster and safe delivery of medical samples by drone.

Using considerably quieter and eco-friendly gliders, Jedsy will transport samples to 14 interconnected labs and 8 collection locations in Switzerland and Liechtenstein where an advanced drone can dock at the window in a few seconds in any weather.

Expressing his utmost excitement for the pilot project, Martin Risch, CEO of Dr. Risch group, highlighted how this will positively impact the healthcare sector.

“The Covid pandemic showed us how imperative courier service is; however, at times vehicles get stuck in traffic or encounter other hindrances thereby negatively impacting delivery.

“Now, with the coming in of Jedsy, deliveries will be faster allowing us to offer outstanding service, which will ultimately benefit patients,” he said.
