In this episode of Budget Build Garage we get the 1967 Chevy Camaro prepped for paint. We’ve decided to say goodbye to the flames and instead were throwing on some Nason "Pull Me Over Red". But before we start spraying we completely tear down the car to begin the paint prep. The more the car is taken apart the better the final outcome of the paint will be. In this episode you’ll also see how to mix car paint and why it’s important understanding mixing ratios. This 67 car paint project is going to be done in several stages, tear down is stage 1 for us. A quick tip when breaking down your car for paint prep: Be very vigilant organizing everything you’re taking apart. When taking a part off, keep all bolts, washers, nuts, etc together in some sort of bag or container and label it. It’s never a bad idea to take pictures of everything before teardown just to have a reference when putting the car back together.
