The Pro95 (now replaced by the Pro95i) and the Pro50 can independently power and diagnose field problems in a Hunter 2-Wire system. When connected to the Pro50 24vac 60 Hz power source, Hunter decoders draw more current than some others because they are designed to operate on a 1.2 Hz power source. 4 milliamperes (mA) is typical per decoder. Total current at the source should be about the number of decoders times 4 mA. As with any current test, set the Pro95 to "LPF" to reduce variability.
