In Pixar’s Onward, we learned of a mysterious guardian curse that was capable of conjuring a mighty beast that would battle all who stood against it from returning the phoenix gem to its home. Only by destroying its core, the center of its power, with the fantastical curse crusher could the curse be broken. While Ian and Barley were able to end this curse, where did it come from? Was there a wizard who created it? Who could have created evil magic like this? Today I’m going to give my theory on where this dark curse came from.
