Oh hi, long time no see! Apologies for my absence over these last few months but winter sucks and it's really kicked my ass this year.. that said, it is getting warmer/lighter and I have actually been back into the workshop to make a thing!
And what better way to start back with than with a bowl from one of my absolute favourite woods, olive. Yes please!

Relatively smooth sailing until half of the screws snapped when removing the faceplate so I had to dig them out with the parting tool.
Not the first time it's happened, doubt it'll be the last.

Shaped using a 3/8ths bowl gouge, a round carbide scraper and the trusty parting tools, sanded to 320 grit inside and out with a walrus oil soak to finish.
