So I began to experience my car passing the red line for the thermostat gauge in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Now while there are a few issues on why this happens, this is is the easiest and most simple way to make sure to stop this issue from continuing to happen. All you need is the following:
1. A funnel (Necessary) @ https://amzn.to/2M1ybaH
2. 50/50 Anti-Freeze. (Necessary) IN THE VIDEO I USE WATER TO SHOW YOU THE PROCESS!!! USE 50/50 ANT-FREEZE! @ https://amzn.to/2KpdS20
3. Duct tape or electrical tape. (To make the job easier, but not necessary.) @ https://amzn.to/2vhDMQx
4. A new radiator cap (This is just to be safe in case any pressure is being let in with an old radiator cap. They range between $4 - $7 at an automotive store. I would get one with a pressure release option.) @ https://amzn.to/2M013ju
5. Upper and lower radiator hoses. (Unnecessary unless you can CLEARLY see the anti-freeze leaking from these hoses.)
6. Thermostat (Unnecessary unless nothing else has worked. I would recommend the brand Tridon. http://www.tridon.com.au/products/Tri...)

Before seeing if you need to spend a few hundred dollars on replacing a head gasket, radiator hoses, thermostat, etc. - please try this method first.
