Whilst fitting some kitchen taps a customer asked me to look at his electric shower and asked if i could repair it… now i checked to see if it was under any warranty and it was just over the cover period, usually i would always replace electric showers but the customer had bought a replacement PRV tube.
I will always try something once because then i know if it can be done and if it should be avoided as it could be a waste of time.
We ended up replacing the shower unit altogether and that worked and is not under a warranty again
