This is Louis Garneau's 2015 Fatbike, the Gros Louis 4.
My review overall, is that it is a great bike to get started into the Fatbike world. It retails for $1349CAD

Key areas for me are the wheels. Both front and rear wheels come with Sealed Bearings. Not only does it make it stronger, but it's also great for low maintenance, and helps prevent water from entering the system. Important when riding in the winter.

Of course as all Fatbike's should have, is full housing of cables to help them from getting exposed. Which brings me to the brakes.

The brakes are hydraulic which is good to keep sealed compared to mechanical(cable) brakes..

NOTE • On the Louis Garneau website, they say it comes with Promax Decipher brakes, but the one I have here has the Promax SOLVE brakes...
So for the moment I have to say it comes with the Promax SOLVE. Must be typo.

The drawback with this particular brake though is that Mineral Oil tends to freeze easier. But if your honest with yourself, I don't think anyone wants to ride in -30 Celsius weather. The brakes still work great, and they would have to be exposed to harsh conditions and for a period of time for them to actually freeze. Remember Shimano uses Mineral Oil, and they are one the best brakes out there.

This model is a 27 speed, making it a bike that gives you lots of options.

When sinking in deep snow, the low profile standover height helps you get back on the bike quickly.

This is a decent model, and I recommend this bike to everyone wanting to get into the FatBike world.

Hope you enjoy the video. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks
