Here are 5 points I go through to make sure I'm ready to commit to and hold an investment for the long run. Upside potential, risk level and my conviction level are important factors to me as a growth investors since I'm looking for big returns.

This list also helps me avoid a bloated portfolio and over diversification, two enemies of growth investors. I hold only 8 stocks in my growth portfolio, and even that might be too many!

Fully committing is a part of being a patient investors. Imagine how many investors weren't fully committed and sold TSLA or AMZN stock before they took off? The shift from ICE cars to EVs or retail to E-commerce don't happen over night and only patient investors will be rewarded.
