I am sure by now if you watch this channel you knew that my wife's daily driver was going to be lowered. Whether it is 4wd or 2wd we lower almost everything so this was going to be no different. In this video I show you how to lower a GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe or Cadillac Escalade. I have show you these videos in the past but this time we use a coilover and rear shock from ridetech.com I wanted to see if I could get lower than before and also have a great ride quality. I will say it is by far the best riding lowered suv that I have put together. Even with the 24 inch wheels. I show you each step with torque specs to make it easy for the diy guy to lower there yukon, tahoe or escalade in a driveway. It is a lot of work but can be done yourself with some simple hand tools. This drop came out to be around 3.5/5 I think we could get lower but we are out of camber adjustment in the front and the back is very close to the frame. The fact that this is 4x4 doesn't matter. Yes, you can lower a 4wd yukon, tahoe or escalade. I also used an adjustable panhard rod this time. It wasn't off much but did need a small adjustment. I love the look of it slammed and it will be way easier to get a baby seat in and out. This is the first time I have use a coilover setup in the front and will be the go to from now on. It is so much nicer of a ride and set up. We did have some issues as you saw but once addressed it is Amazing. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
