We honestly didn't know there were so many different styli for the iPad Air and iPad Pro. I was big with iPad stylus back in 2012 and 2013 but between then and now, the only other one I've used was the Apple Pencil.

Based on our testing, the best stylus is still the Apple Pencil. It's hard to beat how you store and charge it and overall functionality. BUT if you don't feel like spending $130 dollars, here's the rankings (and affiliate links) for the other options.

- Silicone tips for the Apple Pencil is a great idea for those who don't want to use matte screen protectors
- You don't need a silicone tip & a matte screen protector. There's way too much friction between those two products and your Apple pencil
