New Orleans is a special city. The culture in the Big Easy is more unique than what you'll find in most other large cities throughout the U.S. Whether it's Mardi Gras, the Creole or Cajun cuisine, the music scene or the architecture that's found in the French Quarter, most visitors are able to have a good time when they visit New Orleans. On the flip side, there's a lot of things to not love about New Orleans. The threat of another severe hurricane or flood is real. So is the high crime rates, and the economic/population decline. It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for this city.
