It’s the CQWW DX CW Contest this weekend and I’m trying out my new (to me) Elecraft KX2. From my QTH in Missouri I was able to work DR4A in Germany with 2 watts, and then F6KOP IN France with 1 watt. I was using my homemade 40 meter delta loop.
Granted, those two hams were at contest stations with impressive antennas that did most of the “heavy lifting”.
But that was still a lot of fun!
