This is a quick video showing you how to upgrade your PCV valve on your N54 powered BMW. I'm working on my 2008 BMW E90 335i.

The stock PCV valve is made of plastic and can fail on you. It can cause a boost least which will pressurize your crankcase or cause your car to burn oil and smoke out the exhaust.

If your car is tuned or high mileage it would be a good idea to change this piece before it can become a problem for you.
