In this video I show you how to dye a denim jacket. I did this by following the instructions on the Rit Dye website here: https://www.ritdye.com/instructions/h...

It can be a messy project, but it is pretty simple and anyone can do it. If you can do this outside, I would totally recommend it.

We started off by bleaching the jean jacket to remove the existing color. Then we go ahead and fill up a bucket with very hot water. We then add 1 cup of salt, 1 teaspoon of dish soap, and a bottle of Rit Dye. At first I used the dyemore product and then redyed using the original Rit Dye.

After the jacket sat in the dye for a while, it is time to rinse under cold water until the water runs clear. Then we just wash and dry.
