ABOUT MY LEGO 10300 Back to the Future DeLorean MOTORIZATION BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS:

Motorized modification MOC/mod of the LEGO 10300 DeLorean from Back to the future. Remote controlled via Bluetooth. Works with Buwizz 3.0 or LEGO 88009 powered up hub. My instructions include a fix for the DeLorean's gullwing doors, to hold them up and I changed the weird colored bricks in the interior. I even made a DIY adapter to power the LED light Kit with LEGO's power Functions plug from a buwizz 3.0 - and included it to the instructions.

ABOUT THIS VIDEO

I finished motorizing the LEGO 10300 DeLorean from Back to the Future in May 2022. The Most complicated part was not to develop the LEGO TECHNIC mechanics, but bugs and Problems of the LEGO 88009 hub especially but also the Buwizz 3.0 Pro.
I compare these two LEGO Remote Controls (you can use any of them) and show you all the basics and issues:
If your LEGO hub fries / freezes / stops working, I have a very simple solution to fix it. LEGO's Powered Up is really crappy. Looking for a Programming guide / Powered Up manual? I will show you how to get started in this LEGO Powered up app tutorial.
And If you want to see the Back to the Future time jump scene with fire and a driving LEGO DeLorean (no stop motion) it's right in the beginning of this video.

Besides bashing LEGO a lot - sorry but you had it coming - I will show all the best Big LEGO movie franchise cars, because I motorized them with LEGO motors and made Building instructions:
The beautiful LEGO 10274 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 from 2020 LEGO, the Huge and very smart designed 76239 LEGO 1989 Batmobile (2019) from the Tim Burton Movies.
I also motorized the 76240 LEGO Batman Tumbler (2021). I think Christopher Nolan's Batmans are the best after Burtons. The LEGO Tumbler is great: big, interesting to build, bold LEGO technics. But even after the 2021 upgrade I think LEGO still didn't get it right. So besides steering+driving, I added full suspensions with moving and upgraded armor panels. No extractable LEGO Bat-Pod, but a retractable Tumbler roof.

The Delorean was probably the most anticipated new LEGO set 2022.
LEGO's old delorean 21103 from 2013 in comparisson was small and did not much resamble the iconic Delorean DMC 12 flying car from the 1980s BTTF Movies.
The 10300 has Minifigures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown, a LEGO Flux Capacitor and hoverboard, Mr Fusion (including Banana & beer can), the Wild West Steampunk gadgets and flipping wheels.
