Its finally here - the new 4 series from BMW - and look at that grille!

We were expecting that from all the rumours, this car reminds me of a mobile phone launch where everyone is talking about what to expect before its officialy unveiled.

Now that its out - there is a lot of hate as well as love towards it. Me? Im not a big fan no. Luckily the rest of the package is nice and as usual - much better than the predecessor. At least according to BMW.

Rest of design is quite different than the 3 series - front, side and rear are noticeably changed unlike in previous generation where 3 series was quite similar to 4 series apart from less doors

The engines are predictably carried over from 3 series with 420i, 420d, 430i and 430d all there and obviously the top of the range M440i present and the new model M440d also making appearance same as it did in 3 series.

Prices start from £40,000 and go up to £55,000 for the M440i as also shown in my video where I configured my own bimmer. Like I said - not a fan of the grille but would still go for this M440i in white and black design.

Did we need such a radical design in this segment? Looking at competition that is very calm and predictable in terms of design - maybe we needed that to shake things up. Time will tell if it will be a hit (spoiler: probably yes)
