He inherited the coat color, giant tongue, and silly personality from his Labrador dad. He gets his gentleness, endurance, blue eyes, and high shedding coat from his Husky mother (though he doesn't shed quite as bad as a purebred Husky.

A fast trot is a Husky's natural gait. They are built for endurance, not sprinting. My pit type always had to gallop to keep up with his trot.
