Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity brings the Yiga Ninja Chieftain into the fold, and his abilities are as bizarre as they are ferocious. His unique gimmick is the ability for him to build up a tantrum with his combos, which fuel a powerful AoE laser beam that instantly forces enemies into a stagger state and rapidly wears down their WP gauge. This allows him to set up some deadly combos that can handily lock down certain enemies, and smart players will properly assess the situation to prepare some efficient waveclears. Best of all, the laser beam allows him to clear multiple boss enemies WP gauges, letting him quickly clear out a room with a single WP smash!

So what is the “Warrior Showcase”, exactly? I wanted to make a new commentary series geared specifically towards "newer" players beginning their first steps into progressing the game. This primarily focuses on the strengths of a particular moveset, and give new players a taste of what’s waiting for them if they decide to invest heavily in their favourite warrior. I wanted to make this series similar to how we tackled Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and Fire Emblem Warriors, where we look at each character from a long-term perspective.
