Subcision is a minor surgical procedure using a tiny needle to treat scars on the skin. Scars can be caused by trauma, chicken pox, acne or other things. A tiny needle is inserted through a pore in the skin to help loosen up the skin that is bound to lower parts of the skin, elevating the skin where the scar is. Submission can be used along with other treatments or procedures to help achieve optimal results.
