The second generation of Honda Pilot was produced from April 2008 - 2015. It is equipped with 3.5-liter J35Z4 engine with 250 horsepower. Pilot is a very popular family SUV in the USA because of very good reliability and family convenience. Honda Pilot is unique for its good amount of the interior space and passenger capacity. It can fit 8 passengers and still has 18 SFT of cargo space. Before restyling, Pilot did not have the best gas mileage. This problem Honda solved after 2012 on the facelift model, and improved average gas mileage from 18 MPG to 20 MPG which is even better than Toyota Highlander.
