This video is #6 in a series called "Back To Basics," where I discuss fundamental issues of interest to collectors in the early phases of their physical media journey. Think of it as sort of a "Collecting 101" series, with special emphasis on 4K UHD.

Note: I had to downscale this video to 1080p resolution. While all my videos are shot in 4K and usually output to 4K, I was having significant technical issues trying to export this particular video to 4K. So in the interest of time (and my own sanity), you're getting a slightly lower resolution video today than what I usually put forth. Not that it really matters for the kind of content I do... I'm sure 1080p is more than sufficient. But I do strive for consistency and the highest quality that I'm capable of delivering.
