This is it, the big one for this year at Rolex, the brand new Submariner 41mm. And today on MONOCHROME, we review it as we had the opportunity to see the watch just before its official launch.

The new Rolex Submariner 41mm 124060 is more an evolution that a revolution and the updates are subtle. The case has been redesigned, with a 41mm diameter but more tapered, thinner lugs, as well as a more compact feel. The dial and bezel are still black and retain the iconic look of past Sub watches. The bracelet has been updated too, as the lug width is now 21mm and the bracelet is longer on its whole length. The main evolution concerns the movement, as the 124060 now incorporates the new calibre 3230 with 70h power reserve and Chronergy escapement.

The Rolex Submariner 41mm 124060 will soon be available at retailers for CHF 7,700.
